HOME A/V PROJECT MANAGER

Overview:

Technician is responsible for installation and wiring of Audio/Video, Control System, Network, Communications, and Surveillance equipment at assigned job-site(s).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000 per year according to experience

Education/Experience/Licensure:​

 High School diploma

 Valid driver’s license

 At least 2-years prior experience as an installation technician working for acA/V or low-voltage Contractor, or electrician

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager, the Technician shall maintain accurate documentation, job-site decorum, and helps set the high standard  of workmanship and excellence demanded by the company.

  •  Assist the Manager and supervise assigned projects 

  •  Correct, revise, and maintain current documents

  •  Communicate with customer, customer’s agents, general

  •  contractor, and/or other trade contractors to ensure that all

  •  necessary information is communicated to the Project

  •  Manager to support favorable project completion

  •  Check drawings, specifications, and documents, for

  •  accuracy

  •  Review project requirements with other field staff

  •  Manage job-site cleanliness and be responsible for

  •  minimizing material waste during installation (wire, brackets,

  •  misc. materials)

  •  Maintain communication with the Project Manager to assure

  •  they are up-to-date on the project and involved with any

  •  system design related changes and/or client requests for

  •  changes

  •  Keep supervisors timely informed of all critical project

  •  related issues

  •  Maintain excellent customer relations

  •  Various advanced level field work

Job Description:

  • Build high-end audio/video and smart home systems.

  • Positions and training are available from new construction wiring to performing final calibration.

  • Two years electrician or direct audio/ video installation experience requested.
